SCHOOL
INFORMATION: In this swift changing, turbo-jet age of
declining values and increasing indifference, DAV, Gurgaon holds
aloft the torch of age old, Vedic values by imparting value
educations to its students. The daily recitals of shlokas and
regular rendering of mantras infuse serenity and mental calm, thus
rejuvenating and invigorating every mind, preparing it for the day.
The hawans performed at regular intervals not only depollute the
environment, but also purify the minds and souls. The unique
tradition of performing hawans to bless the X and XII class students
and wish them good luck for their Board Exams, aims at sending out
students, pure in mind and soul, to uphold the values they imbibed
at their alma water. This, indeed, is a whiff of fresh air in an
environment clogged and asphyxiated with materialism,
self-centeredness, shams and pretences. |
