They have the
wings, we give them the roots - a firm foundation to enable them to
take a long leap. We, at DAV, have nurtured our tender saplings with
love and care to create many a strong oaks. Catering to both- the
oriental and occidental ideologies, our school's value precepts have
an all pervasive influence on the holistic development of children,
as mandated by CBSE. With an unshakeable base, excellent facilities
and competent faculty, DAV Public School produces a new league of
conscientious students, year after year. Students who are
confident, competent, proficient and assertive. A fleeting look at
the DAVites would assure you that the future of our nation is in
safe hands.
From a very humble
beginning in 1985, the school has come a long way today to stand
tall and proud in constant consonance with the demands of this age
of burgeoning e-revolution. It has moved from black boards to
electronic white boards, TV screens and LCD projectors in classes.
With 4200 students, 235 teachers and a support staff of about 150,
the school is conducive to the growth of its teachers as well as
students. The school has been ranked No. 1 for the past six years
consecutively, according to the performance analysis-a tool devised
by DAV Managing
Committee for qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the
degree of merit of students performance.
Among some of the
accolades won by the school are :
ISO

according to international standardization in 2002.
